Life doesn't always go to plan. If something is making it harder for you to deal with money – or with us – let us know, and we'll do what we can to help.
When you might need extra support
Anyone can go through a difficult time. You might need a bit more help from us if you're dealing with:
- A physical or mental health condition
- A disability
- A bereavement
- A relationship breakdown
- Losing your job or a drop in income
- Caring for someone
- Difficulty reading, with numbers or with English
- Gambling or another addiction
- Someone pressuring you to borrow
What we can do
A call back from our team
Fill in the form and someone from our team will call you – at a time that suits you, if you tell us when.
Information in another format
Ask for anything from us in larger print or another format that's easier for you.
Withdraw an application
Changed your mind, or applied when you weren't sure? We'll ask the partner lender to withdraw your application.
Stop the calls and messages
If anyone involved in your application is contacting you more than you'd like, tell us. We'll step in and ask them to stop.
More time
If you need more time to repay, speak to your lender first – only they can change your repayments. If you still need help after that, come back to us.
You don't have to tell us why
You never have to explain your circumstances to get help. If you choose to, we'll only use what you tell us to support you. We'll treat it in confidence, and we'll only share it with your lender if you agree. Information about your health has extra protection under data protection law, and we take that seriously.
Being pressured to borrow?
If someone is making you apply for a loan, or controlling your money, it isn't your fault. Tell us and we'll ask the lender to withdraw the application. The charity Surviving Economic Abuse has free information and support.
